Не скрою, я на ПвП сервер сильно не хочу идти. Но давайте посмотрим общее настроение.
Различия, скорее всего, будут как в ВоВ, Рифте, Вахе и так далее. ПвП сервер - флаг везде, ПвЕ - только в РвР зонах. -------------------- :::: Live Stream :: YouTube :: Steam Profile :: Last.FM ::::

Раскрывающийся текст Checking one of the questions I had off the list, I thanked David for answering and went back into the crowd of people to look for more developers to talk to. That’s when I stumbled onto Gabe Amatangelo, the Lead PvP Designer for TOR. Let me preface by saying Open World PvP is something I am an extreme fan of. So the chance to talk with Gabe was something I was not going to pass up. Wiggling my way into the small circle of fans surrounding Gabe, I immediately jumped into the conversation. My first, and biggest, question I asked him was regarding Open World PvP (more specifically regarding Open World PvP on a PvE server). In the past, it was said that there would be designated areas away from questing areas where you are auto-flagged and can fight in an open-world environment and that these areas would be clearly marked on your map. When I first heard that I immediately thought of the RvR “lakes” on Warhammer Online’s Core servers. Others, however, pointed out that it could mean something like Wintergrasp or Tol’Barad in WoW, where PvP areas in the open world were completely separate zones and are few and far between. Asking Gabe if he could clarify on this, he said with absolute certainty that it was more similar to the “lakes” in Warhammer than the zones in WoW. I nearly leapt for joy. I explained to him how much I loved Open-World PvP and how some of the best moments of PvP I had ever experienced were on a core server in WAR, and he said that based upon that I won’t be disappointed. He asked me to clearly specify though that, in TOR, they were PvP lakes, not RvR lakes, because RvR was a specific game system unique to games like DAoC and WAR. With that said, I asked him how much influence those games had in developing TOR’s PvP. He replied with saying how there were many concepts in WAR that had a lot of potential, but the implementation of them was flawed and they were well aware of that. He said TOR had concepts from those games, but much more polished and fine-tuned. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I couldn’t get him to provide further details on what specific systems lay in store for PvP that had not been talked about.
